Fotbal

Fotbal, commonly known as football or soccer in various parts of the world, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each, on a rectangular field known as a pitch. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played primarily with the feet, but players can use other body parts (excluding their hands and arms, which are reserved for the goalkeeper) to control and advance the ball.

The sport is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, maintained by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). Fotbal is one of the most widely played and popular sports globally, with millions of fans and players, and it features prominent international competitions such as the FIFA World Cup and continental tournaments.

In the context of computer science, the term „fotbal“ may not have a specific technical definition and is typically associated with the sporting activity. However, it may appear in applications, databases, or games that focus on sports simulations or sports management, where programming concepts are applied to model and develop functionalities related to the sport.
