Anxiety

Anxiety is a psychological and physiological state characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts, and physical changes such as increased blood pressure. It is often accompanied by various symptoms, including restlessness, rapid heartbeat, sweating, and difficulty concentrating. Anxiety can be a normal response to stress, but when excessive or persistent, it may interfere with daily activities and is classified as an anxiety disorder. These disorders can include generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and specific phobias. Anxiety is often triggered by situations perceived as threatening or overwhelming and may also arise without an identifiable trigger. Effective treatments for anxiety include therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, and relaxation techniques.
